ZG is our two surnames.
We were already building things together. At some point calling it anything else stopped making sense, so we gave it a name.
One of us is a software engineer, the other a mechanical engineer. We mention it not to impress but because it changes how the work goes: one thinks in architecture and support, the other in materials, cost and how something survives outdoors. Our best projects are the ones that need both.
We are based in Athens and work with clients outside Greece. Greek and English are both written here as a first language, which counts for more than it sounds when the copy is the thing introducing you.
The two of us

Software engineerWrites the code, sets up the databases and keeps everything alive after launch. His half is the part that still has to work six months later, not only on delivery day.
Alexandros Gatsas
Mechanical engineerWorks out how something stands up in the real world: materials, cost, mounting, who maintains it. The same reasoning applies when the object happens to be a page.
Why a small team
- You speak to the person building it, not to someone who will pass the request along.
- You are not paying for coordination between departments that do not exist.
- When something breaks at ten in the evening, you know exactly who to tell.
- We take on few projects at a time, because we are the ones doing them.
